Business Development Representative Benefits & Compensation

  • $80,000 base salary

Business Development Representative Requirements & Qualifications

  • 1–4 years of outbound sales or business development experience
  • Proven ability to thrive in high-activity, metric-driven environments
  • Strong cold-calling mentality and resilience in the face of rejection
  • Confident communicator with a relentless work ethic and sense of urgency
  • Coachable, energetic, and eager to learn consultative sales skills
  • Desire to build a rewarding long-term sales career

Business Development Representative Preferred Background & Skills

  • Experience in staffing & recruiting sales, telecom sales, merchant services, copier sales, uniform sales, SaaS SDR/BDR roles, door-to-door, or field sales
  • Backgrounds in high-volume B2B prospecting or as a recent competitive graduate, former college athlete, or fraternity/sorority leader

Business Development Representative Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting and cold calling to generate new business opportunities
  • Establish and nurture relationships with business owners and key decision-makers
  • Qualify prospects and build a healthy sales pipeline using CRM systems
  • Master solution-based, consultative sales techniques with ongoing coaching
  • Collaborate with leadership to accelerate growth and maximize performance
  • Embrace ongoing learning, consistently seeking to elevate sales expertise and results
