We are helping a hospitality partner find and recruit a recruiting manager for their growing hotel portfolio. We are looking for a resourceful and creative thinker, with hotel leadership experience, a knack for recruiting hourly team members, and a good understanding of human resources policies. Candidates with education in Human Resources or business would be preferred, but hotel leadership experience is critical to understanding the workforce! This person will work out of an office in Bosie a few days per week and will visit properties in Idaho and Eastern Oregon regularly, though overnight travel will be rare. Bilingual in Spanish would be ideal, but not required. Candidates should be self-starters, hungry to achieve, and ambitious to grow!

Hotel Recruiting Manager Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Experience in a Hotel Leadership role
  • Higher education in Human Resources or Business highly preferred
  • Experience with Recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and coaching candidates
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of State and Federal hiring and interviewing laws
  • Experience placing ads on job boards
  • Experience attending job fairs and recruiting fairs highly preferred
  • Personable, resourceful, and ambitious personality
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus

Hotel Recruiting Manager Responsiblities:

  • Plan a recruiting schedule with hotel General Managers to onboard team members in preparation for seasonal demand and permanent placement
  • Create and support retention strategies and succession plans with General Managers
  • Source and identify candidates for hourly positions using a variety of media and techniques
  • Connect with local high schools, community colleges, and universities to attract graduates into hospitality career paths
  • Attend job fairs and represent the brands with confidence and professionality
  • Conduct initial interviews, coordinate additional interview, call references, write offer letters, conduct background checks, and schedule drug screenings as necessary
  • Do initial onboarding including I-9 and W-2 paperwork
  • Conduct 90 day check-in and exit interviews with candidates as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
