Restaurant Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in food & beverage and/or hospitality industry
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Attention to detail; strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Ability to stand for 6–12 hours at a time
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Restaurant Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience with employee scheduling and human resources practices
- Prior supervisory experience in a multi-attraction or family entertainment center
- Familiarity with cash handling and daily reporting
- Bilingual abilities a plus
Restaurant Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across all attractions, food & beverage, and guest service areas
- Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team of employees
- Ensure all facilities and amusements are clean, safe, and fully operational
- Assist in hiring, training, and onboarding of new team members
- Monitor employee schedules, performance trends, and payroll submissions
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and labor regulations
- Open and close the venue following established procedures, including managing multiple cash drawers
