General Manager Requirements & Qualifications:

·      Previous General Manager or restaurant leadership experience

·      Proven ability to recruit, hire, train, coach, and retain strong restaurant teams

·      Strong understanding of restaurant financials, including food cost, labor cost, payroll, sales forecasting, and profitability

·      Experience reviewing P&L statements and developing action plans to improve results

·      Ability to manage inventory, ordering, and operational controls

·      Strong track record of maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards

·      Comfortable holding team members accountable while creating a positive work environment

·      Ability to lead from the floor and remain hands-on during high-volume periods

·      Strong communication and problem-solving skills

·      Ability to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and employment requirements

General Manager Preferred Background & Skills:

·      Fast-casual, QSR, or high-volume restaurant leadership experience

·      ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain certification

·      Experience with local store marketing

·      Catering sales and business development experience

·      Strong history of improving sales, labor, food cost, and overall restaurant profitability

·      Experience building a strong management bench and developing future leaders

·      Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate the restaurant like your own business
