Our client, a technology-driven insurance platform focused on simplifying the insurance

experience, is seeking a product development manager who can help shape the next stage of growth by

identifying high-impact problems, developing thoughtful solutions, and turning ideas into

products that deliver measurable results.

Position Overview

The Senior Product Manager will own critical product initiatives across the

technology platform, partnering closely with Engineering, Operations, Sales, Servicing, Data,

Marketing, and company leadership.

This role is responsible for identifying opportunities, determining what should be built, and

driving products from initial concept through launch, adoption, measurement, and continuous

improvement.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, technically fluent, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where product decisions directly impact customers, employees, partners,

and business performance.

We are particularly interested in candidates with demonstrated experience shipping AI-powered

or AI-enabled products and a strong understanding of how AI can be applied to solve real

operational and customer problems.

This is a hands-on product role. The right candidate can think strategically while remaining close

to users, data, technical constraints, and execution—moving comfortably from an ambiguous

business problem to a clear product strategy, prototype, shipped solution, and measurable result.

Key Responsibilities

• Own product initiatives from discovery and prioritization through development, launch,

adoption, measurement, and ongoing improvement.

• Identify and deeply understand important customer and business problems before

determining the appropriate product solution.

• Translate business objectives and operational challenges into clear product requirements,

workflows, priorities, and measurable outcomes.

• Partner closely with Engineering and Design to rapidly prototype, scope, test, and ship

solutions while making thoughtful tradeoffs between speed, quality, complexity, and

business impact.

• Build prototypes and lightweight solutions independently when appropriate to validate

ideas before committing significant engineering resources.

• Partner with Sales, Operations, Servicing, Marketing, Data, and leadership to identify

opportunities for automation, improved customer experiences, and greater operational

efficiency.

• Build and improve AI-powered products, internal tools, and workflows supporting

customer acquisition, sales, servicing, operations, and data.

• Conduct user interviews, observe existing workflows, analyze user behavior, and

translate insights into actionable product improvements.

• Prioritize the product roadmap based on customer impact, business value, strategic

importance, technical complexity, and expected return on engineering resources.

• Establish success metrics before launch and use data to evaluate adoption, productivity

improvements, customer outcomes, and overall business impact.

• Coordinate product launches, training, documentation, adoption strategies, and feedback

loops across the organization.

• Identify opportunities to simplify complex operational processes, eliminate unnecessary

manual work, and improve scalability.

• Develop a deep understanding of HoneyQuote’s customers, insurance products,

distribution channels, technology platform, and internal operations.

• Maintain clear and proactive communication with stakeholders regarding priorities,

progress, risks, decisions, tradeoffs, and changes in scope.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience with meaningful end-to-end ownership of

software products.

• Demonstrated experience taking products from initial problem identification through

launch, adoption, measurement, and iteration.

• Demonstrated experience shipping AI-powered or AI-enabled products, features,

workflows, or internal tools into production.

• Strong technical fluency and the ability to work effectively with engineers, data teams,

and technical leadership.

• Ability to understand APIs, system integrations, data flows, automation logic, technical

architecture, and engineering constraints.

• Strong understanding of AI capabilities and limitations, including model evaluation,

reliability, human-in-the-loop systems, and practical implementation considerations.

• Strong analytical skills with experience using data to identify opportunities, prioritize

investments, and measure results.

• Ability to turn ambiguous problems into structured product strategies, clear requirements,

and executable plans.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong product judgment and the ability to make thoughtful tradeoffs with incomplete

information.

• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, curiosity, and attention to detail.

• Willingness to spend meaningful time with users and understand how work is actually

performed.

• Based in Miami or willing to work regularly with the HoneyQuote team in person.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in insurtech, fintech, financial services, marketplaces, or another

operationally complex industry.

• Experience building internal operational tools, workflow automation, CRM systems, or

customer-facing digital products.

• Familiarity with AI agents, large language models (LLMs), workflow orchestration,

prompt design, model evaluation, retrieval systems, or human-in-the-loop workflows.

• Comfortable using modern AI development and prototyping tools to explore ideas,

analyze data, build prototypes, and accelerate product development.

• Experience working with distributed engineering teams.

• Experience within a high-growth, entrepreneurial, or acquisition-driven organization.

• Familiarity with product analytics, SQL, APIs, prototyping tools, Jira, and modern AI

development tools.

What Success Looks Like

  • Success in this role means consistently identifying, prioritizing, and translating the most important customer and business problems into a clear product roadmap.
  • Product investments are directly connected to measurable customer, operational, or financial outcomes. Engineering teams have clear context around the problems they are solving and can execute efficiently with fewer unnecessary revisions or delays.
  • New products and features launch quickly, are adopted by the people they are designed to serve, and are continuously improved using data and feedback. Manual workflows become faster, simpler, and increasingly automated.
  • AI is applied thoughtfully where it can meaningfully improve productivity, customer experience, decision-making, and scalability.
  • Ultimately, this role will help build an increasingly scalable technology platform capable of supporting continued growth across new markets, products, partners, and acquisitions
