Lead Data Engineer – Hybrid (3 Days Onsite)
Join a fast-growing consumer financial services company that's investing heavily in its data platform. We're seeking a hands-on Lead Data Engineer with deep Python expertise and proven experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring engineers, and driving data engineering solutions from design through implementation.
This is a hybrid role (3 days onsite) based in Plano, TX.
Note: Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship, now or in the future. Work visas cannot be sponsored or supported for this role.
What You'll Bring
- 8+ years of professional data engineering experience
- Proven experience as a technical lead, including guiding engineers, driving best practices, and owning complex data initiatives
- Expert-level Python development skills
- Advanced SQL skills (MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL)
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Understanding of predictive analytics and statistical modeling concepts

Compensation
Targeting $150,000 base salary + bonus
