A rapidly expanding consumer financial services organization in Plano, TX (75024) is seeking an analytics-driven professional to join their Reporting and Analytics team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to make an impact through data storytelling and innovative analytics within a collaborative environment.

Data Engineer Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business information systems, or related field
• 1 year of experience in the data space or equivalent
• 1 year of experience with Python, SQL
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a desire to learn new technologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Curiosity for how things work and initiative to bring fresh perspectives

Data Engineer Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Create and maintain scalable data pipeline architectures to meet evolving business needs
• Solve complex business challenges with high-quality, maintainable code
• Prepare and organize data for seamless visualization and reporting
• Gather and consolidate data from diverse sources
• Develop automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, and tools for stakeholders
• Communicate technical topics in an easily understandable way to various audiences
• Champion best practices in data analytics and support data-driven decision-making
• Ensure thorough, clear documentation for data solutions
