We're seeking an experienced Quality Assurance & Quality Control Manager to lead all aspects of quality within a fast-paced manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for strengthening the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring product quality, leading a high-performing team, and partnering with Production, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to deliver continuous improvement.

What You'll Do
- Lead all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities across the manufacturing operation.
- Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Oversee incoming material, in-process, and final product inspections while establishing inspection plans, sampling procedures, acceptance criteria, and quality standards.
- Manage, coach, mentor, and develop Quality Technicians and Inspectors, fostering a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Production, Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, and Supply Chain to identify quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor quality metrics, reduce defects, scrap, rework, and customer complaints, and drive continuous process improvements.
- Maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, calibration records, testing results, certifications, and customer quality records while supporting internal audits, customer audits, supplier quality reviews, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure all inspection tools, gauges, and testing equipment are properly calibrated and maintained.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment.
- At least 2 years of experience leading or supervising quality personnel.
- Strong working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), inspection methods, quality documentation, and manufacturing quality processes.
- Experience with incoming, in-process, and final inspections, corrective and preventive actions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency using precision measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, height gauges, comparators, and other dimensional inspection tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings and understand specifications, tolerances, GD&T, and inspection standards.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to present quality data and recommendations to leadership.
Preferred Experience
Experience in metal fabrication, precision machining, industrial manufacturing, agricultural equipment, automotive components, heavy equipment, building products, contract manufacturing, welding, assembly, or similar manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
Candidates with experience in ISO 9001, CAPA, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, supplier quality, quality audits, calibration programs, first article inspection, control plans, nonconformance reporting, and process improvement are strongly encouraged to apply.
