Lead Housekeeping Manager

Southfield, MI | $50-55K

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the Housekeeping department, ensuring guestrooms and public areas consistently exceed brand standards
• Supervise, train, coach, and develop housekeeping team members while fostering a positive, accountable culture
• Inspect guestrooms, corridors, and public spaces to maintain quality and cleanliness expectations
• Create schedules, manage labor, and assist with inventory control and supply ordering
• Partner closely with the Front Desk, Maintenance, and Laundry departments to ensure seamless daily operations
• Respond to guest requests and service recovery situations with professionalism and urgency
• Maintain compliance with all safety, sanitation, and brand standards

Qualifications

Required

• 1–3+ years of hotel housekeeping experience
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a housekeeping department preferred
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced hotel environment
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

Preferred

• Experience in a branded hotel environment
• Bilingual skills are a plus
