Fast Casual Restaurant General Manager Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a GM for fast-casual or a high-volume casual restaurant
  • 5+ years of experience in fast-casual or high-volume, full-service restaurants
  • Progressive management style: connect with your team members, listen to your team members, lead from the front as the first among equals
  • Good financial abilities in managing COGs and labor

Fast Casual Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations and management team of your location
  • Manage and motivate the team: happy people make better food!
  • Take ownership of the store, including visual appeal and cleanliness: be accountable, the buck stops here!
  • Connect with the local community and promote the unique and appealing concept
  • Manage COGs and labor, accountable for the bottom-line performance of the store
  • Bring and spread joy to the team and guests!
