Marine Upholstery Designer
Greenville, SC | Competitive Pay + Benefits
We’re looking for a Marine Upholstery Designer with strong CAD and SolidWorks skills to join a leading manufacturer of premium marine seating systems. If you have experience in upholstery design (marine, auto, RV, or specialty seating), this is an exciting opportunity to bring your craftsmanship and technical expertise to a growing team.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and develop marine seating & upholstery systems (foam, vinyl, quilting, patterns).
- Create SolidWorks assemblies, 2D drawings, and CNC-ready files.
- Collaborate with upholstery and production teams to support prototyping and production.
- Ensure designs meet marine-grade performance, quality, and durability standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years in upholstery design (marine, automotive, RV, or related).
- Strong SolidWorks experience (large assemblies, 2D drawings).
- Knowledge of upholstery construction (foam, sewing, quilting, patterning).
- Familiarity with marine-grade materials.
- Bonus: OEM upholstery design, hands-on upholstery/prototyping, CNC nesting.
- Proficient in SolidWorks, Optitex Fusion 360, Exact Flat REQUIRED
