We are seeking an experienced and strategic Executive Director of Sales to lead our group sales organization and drive business growth across corporate meetings, conferences, incentive travel, association events, golf groups, and destination retreats in the Florida Panhandle.
This is a high-impact leadership role that combines strategic sales execution, relationship management, and team leadership within a luxury resort environment. The ideal candidate is a proven hospitality sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume, relationship-driven environment.

Executive Director of Group Sales – Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive group sales strategy to drive revenue growth across all segments, including corporate meetings, conventions, incentives, golf groups, and association business
- Lead and mentor the group sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets and performance metrics
- Promote the resort’s full portfolio of offerings, including 90,000 sq ft of meeting and event space, accommodations, golf courses, marina, and resort amenities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, meeting planners, and industry partners
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand group's sales market share
- Partner closely with resort leadership, marketing, catering, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of all group events
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry shifts to inform sales strategy and positioning
Executive Director of Group Sales – Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in group sales within a luxury resort, hospitality, or events environment
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding group sales targets
- Strong leadership experience in managing and developing sales teams
- Deep understanding of corporate meetings, events, and destination group business
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
