Restaurant General Manager

What You'll Do

  • Lead all front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure exceptional execution every day
  • Build, coach, and develop managers and hourly team members while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and hospitality
  • Drive guest satisfaction by maintaining high standards of service, food quality, cleanliness, and overall experience
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, labor performance, and operational efficiency
  • Analyze financial results and take ownership of profitability, cost controls, and revenue growth
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and operational standards
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain top hospitality talent
  • Partner with culinary and service teams to execute business goals and maintain operational consistency
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and create positive outcomes
  • Support local community engagement, marketing initiatives, and special events that strengthen the restaurant's presence in the market
  • Implement systems, procedures, and best practices that position the business for long-term success

Qualifications

  • Proven success as a Restaurant General Manager or senior restaurant leader in a full-service dining environment
  • Experience overseeing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations
  • Strong understanding of restaurant financials, including labor management, inventory controls, budgeting, and P&L accountability
  • Demonstrated ability to develop leaders and build high-performing teams
  • Strong guest service mindset with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience utilizing restaurant technology platforms, scheduling software, POS systems, and reporting tools
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Hospitality, business, or culinary education is a plus
  • Conversational Spanish is a plus
