A growing, entrepreneurial law firm is seeking a seasoned Corporate M&A Partner to join its expanding Business & Transactions practice. This is an opportunity for a highly motivated attorney with an established book of business to join a collaborative platform that supports growth, autonomy, and long-term success.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage sophisticated mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures
- Structure and negotiate stock and asset purchase agreements
- Advise clients on corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance
- Counsel private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, founders, and strategic buyers/sellers
- Oversee due diligence, transaction structuring, and closing processes
- Mentor associates and contribute to practice group growth
- Collaborate cross-functionally with tax, finance, employment, and litigation teams
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active bar admission in applicable jurisdiction
- 8+ years of substantive M&A and corporate transaction experience
- Demonstrated portable book of business
- Strong client relationships and repeat transactional work
- Proven ability to independently originate, manage, and close deals
- Business-minded, entrepreneurial approach to practice
