This is an exciting opportunity for an organized, hospitality-driven professional to lead wedding and event sales, planning, and execution while creating unforgettable guest experiences and earning significant performance-based commissions.

Wedding & Events Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Manage wedding and special event inquiries, conduct venue tours, and prepare proposals and contracts
  • Guide clients through the entire planning process from initial inquiry through event execution
  • Coordinate wedding tastings, event timelines, floor plans, invoices, payments, and guest counts
  • Serve as the on-site coordinator for weddings and events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences
  • Collaborate closely with culinary, food & beverage, and service teams to communicate event details, vendor information, BEOs, and operational plans

Wedding & Events Coordinator Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of event planning experience; wedding planning experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality operations, food & beverage service, and event management best practices
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel); experience with event management or POS systems preferred
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and client relationship-building skills with a polished and professional presence

Successful coordinators can realistically earn $90,000–$100,000+ annually, with top performers exceeding that range through wedding bookings and event revenue growth!
