Managing Partner – Insurance Defense Litigation Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 consecutive years practicing general liability insurance defense.
  • Current role tenure of at least 3 years (5+ preferred).
  • Prior partner experience, minimum 2–3 years.
  • Significant litigation and trial experience, able to handle matters from inception through trial.
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Experience supervising attorneys and/or staff.
  • Florida Bar admission in good standing.
  • Portable business is welcomed but not required.

Managing Partner – Insurance Defense Litigation Preferred Background & Skills

  • Demonstrated success building or growing a practice or office.
  • Interest in proactive litigation strategy and mentoring attorneys.
  • Comfort with modern technology systems and remote-flexible operations.

Managing Partner – Insurance Defense Litigation Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead litigation strategy on a low-caseload, high-quality model (~15 active cases).
  • Mentor, manage, and develop attorneys and staff.
  • Oversee daily operations and drive office growth.
  • Build and manage client relationships.
  • Guide business development activities and regional expansion.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to uphold high standards of service and representation.
