Reverse Mortgage Advisor

Senior Lending Division | Self-Generated Leads

Role Overview

Join a growing senior lending platform as a trusted advisor supporting older homeowners and their families in evaluating home equity lending solutions. This role focuses on building referral relationships, educating clients and professional partners, and managing the reverse mortgage process from initial consultation through closing.

You will work alongside an experienced operations, underwriting, and compliance team while maintaining autonomy in building and managing your own pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

Relationship & Reputation Management

Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and referral partners while representing the organization with professionalism and integrity within senior-focused communities.

Leadership & Growth

Serve as a subject matter resource within the senior lending space by sharing industry knowledge, mentoring developing professionals, and contributing to best practices as the team expands.

Lead Generation & Community Engagement

Develop referral networks with senior living communities and trusted professional partners such as financial advisors, estate planners, and elder law attorneys. Conduct educational workshops, informational presentations, and one-on-one consultations to increase awareness of home equity lending solutions for retirees.

Client Advisory

Provide personalized consultations to senior homeowners and their families to evaluate financial needs, explain available lending options, and guide them through eligibility considerations while maintaining the highest ethical and compliance standards.

Loan Origination & Pipeline Management

Manage the full loan process from application through closing, coordinate required counseling sessions, maintain accurate CRM and loan system records, and communicate regularly with clients and internal teams throughout the process.

Compliance & Documentation

Ensure all loan files meet applicable federal, state, and licensing requirements. Maintain accurate disclosures, documentation, and audit-ready records in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with internal processing, underwriting, compliance, and marketing teams to ensure efficient and timely loan execution.

Community visits and meetings with referral partners

Educational workshops and client presentations

Individual client consultations

Pipeline and CRM management

Follow-up communication with clients and families

Performance Metrics

Consistent self-generated lead activity

Loan pipeline progression and closing ratios

Accuracy and completeness of loan documentation

Growth of professional referral networks

Long-term relationship development with clients and partners
