Fertilization, Weed, Pest & Mosquito Control Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Fertilization, Weed, Pest, Insect, and Mosquito Control Manager to lead and grow our specialized service division. This is a senior-level role for a proven professional who brings deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional results for customers.

In this position, you’ll oversee treatment programs, manage and train service technicians, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with company leadership to drive operational excellence and profitability.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of service technicians and subcontractors
  • Develop customized treatment plans for each customer
  • Oversee scheduling, budgeting, invoicing, and service quality
  • Ensure all safety standards, regulations, and certifications are met
  • Train and mentor field staff on best practices and techniques
  • Implement and manage preventative maintenance programs
  • Coordinate with sales, estimating, HR, accounting, suppliers, and agencies
  • Monitor equipment usage, maintenance, and future needs
  • Track job costing, production standards, and performance metrics
  • Assist with strategic planning, budgeting, and training initiatives

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in fertilization, weed, pest, insect, or mosquito control
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (related field a plus)
  • All required local, state, and federal licenses & certifications
  • Strong diagnostic and treatment planning expertise
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Knowledge of all relevant regulations and agencies
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal)
  • Strong computer skills (CRM systems, MS Word, Excel)
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with clean record
