Irrigation Technician – Commercial & Residential Landscaping

Location: Kansas City Metro Area

We’re looking for a motivated Irrigation Technician to help maintain and enhance commercial and residential sprinkler systems while contributing to continued business growth and customer satisfaction.

💧 What You’ll Do:

Design, install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems
Perform seasonal services (start-ups, adjustments, audits, winterization)
Troubleshoot system issues and make on-site repairs
Read and adjust controllers, gauges, and valves
Operate trucks, trenchers, backhoes, and various tools/equipment
Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and job details
Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and management
Identify system improvements and upsell service opportunities
Maintain clean vehicles, tools, and professional appearance

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 2 years of irrigation experience
Valid driver’s license (KS or MO)
Strong understanding of irrigation systems, plumbing, electrical, and hydraulics
Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
Physically able to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in varying conditions
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
Willingness to work flexible hours (some weekends/holidays as needed)
