Sous Chef Qualifications and Skills
- Currently a Sous Chef, Lead Line Cook, or Kitchen Supervisor
- Have experience in high-volume kitchens
- Background in Commissary kitchens, Catering operations, Meal prep companies, Fast-casual or high-throughput restaurants
- Very hands-on and comfortable with repetitive production work
- Have some exposure to batch cooking, scaling recipes, recipe building
- Are open to learning and growing into R&D exposure
- Spanish-speaking or bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
- A doer, not a strategist
- Someone who can run and support a production line
- A chef who understands consistency and creativity
