Sous Chef Qualifications and Skills

  • Currently a Sous Chef, Lead Line Cook, or Kitchen Supervisor
  • Have experience in high-volume kitchens day hours for a Chef!
  • Background in Commissary kitchens, Catering operations, Meal prep companies, Fast-casual or high-throughput restaurants
  • Very hands-on and comfortable with repetitive production work
  • Have some exposure to batch cooking, scaling recipes, recipe building
  • Are open to learning and growing into R&D exposure
  • Spanish-speaking or bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
  • A hands-on chef that has a passion for food production and new product development
  • Someone who can run and support a production line
  • A chef who understands consistency and creativity
