Assistant Store Manager – SoHo, NYC

A fast-growing, internationally recognized fashion brand is launching its flagship location in SoHo. Assistant Store Manager Benefits & Compensation

Assistant Store Manager Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail leadership role (Assistant Manager or similar)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Passion for fashion and delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Solutions-oriented, highly accountable, and hands-on work style
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

Assistant Store Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in coaching and developing a high-performing team
  • Act as a strong leader on the sales floor, ensuring an elevated and engaging customer experience
  • Drive store performance using KPIs such as conversion, UPT, and AUR
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members
  • Oversee scheduling, payroll efficiency, and daily team management
  • Maintain operational excellence in cash handling, inventory, and visual merchandising standards
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable store culture
  • Step in to lead the store when the Store Manager is absent
