This team supports a large, high-volume real estate book of business. - Lead day-to-day account management responsibilities, including client communication, account review, billing and aged receivable follow-up, service calendar management, claim issue coordination, and internal team communication.
- Prepare for and lead pre-renewal and renewal strategy discussions with clients and producers.
- Review client coverage needs, prepare proposals and stewardship reports, and support renewal presentations.
- Negotiate terms, conditions, coverage options, and premiums with carriers and brokers.
- Support complex real estate-related commercial accounts, which may include property owners, developers, property managers, multifamily portfolios, habitational accounts, mixed-use properties, retail properties, office buildings, industrial properties, and other property-related clients.
- Conduct benchmarking, budgeting, loss analysis, property schedule reviews, Workers’ Compensation Experience Mod analysis, and account strategy support as needed.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and delegation support to Client Service Associates and Client Service Assistants.
- Help bring structure, urgency, and quality control to a high-tempo service environment.
- Stay current on market trends, coverage changes, carrier appetite, and emerging risks within commercial insurance and real estate-related accounts.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience.
- Active Property & Casualty license required.
- Strong commercial lines account management and renewal experience.
- Experience managing both Property and Casualty coverage is required.
- Real estate, habitational, multifamily, property management, or complex property account experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to manage a complex book of business independently and operate with a high degree of ownership.
- Strong client relationship management, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience negotiating with carriers, preparing renewal proposals, and supporting stewardship or strategy meetings.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment.
- Applied Epic experience preferred, but not required.
