Quality Assurance Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10+ years of quality or compliance experience, with experience in the paints and coatings industry preferred
- 3+ years of supervisory experience
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 Quality Management Systems
- Experience conducting internal and external audits and implementing corrective/preventive actions
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement/Kaizen processes
- Ability to wear a respirator and all required PPE (including being clean-shaven)
Quality Assurance Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support and advance the quality assurance program, focusing on defect prevention
- Oversee compliance and adherence to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
- Lead, mentor, and develop quality assurance team members
- Conduct and manage internal and external quality audits
- Identify and implement corrective and preventive actions in response to quality issues
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization
