Job Title: Controller

Salary Range: $125,000 – $150,000

Now interviewing for an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain strong internal controls. This role reports directly to senior leadership and serves as a strategic partner to operations, membership, and department leaders.

Controller Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cash management
• Lead month-end and year-end close and prepare financial statements and management reports
• Manage membership billing, dues, and member receivables
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team
• Coordinate external audits and work with outside CPAs and financial partners

Controller Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, AP/AR, and payroll
• Experience in private clubs, hospitality, or membership-based organizations strongly preferred
• Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills

Controller Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $125,000 – $150,000
