Staff Accountant – Palm Springs, CA

Staff Accountant Benefits & Compensation

Hourly rate of $29.00 – $32.00

Staff Accountant Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
2–3 years of accounting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel required)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple projects
High level of professionalism and commitment to confidentiality
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Staff Accountant Preferred Background & Skills

Knowledge of NetSuite or similar accounting software
Experience supporting venue, events, or hospitality operations

Staff Accountant Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Post and reconcile journal entries for transactions and events
Prepare event settlements, sales journals, and detailed profitability statements
Perform analysis of accounting records and ensure compliance with controls
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Assist the Director of Finance with financial reporting needs
