Packaging Maintenance Technician
This is a hands-on opportunity to join the maintenance team at a reputable consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturing company. The role is ideal for a technician eager to work directly with packaging equipment, enhance troubleshooting skills, and grow within a stable, supportive plant environment.

Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school training preferred
- 2 to 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with packaging equipment strongly preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of preventive maintenance practices
- Understanding of food safety and GMP requirements
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams
Preferred Background & Skills
- Food, beverage, or CPG manufacturing experience
- Experience with packaging line equipment, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial electrical systems
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on production and packaging equipment
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on packaging and production lines
- Support changeovers and equipment adjustments during production runs
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize impact on production
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work order documentation
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to align maintenance with production schedules
- Assist with spare parts inventory tracking and vendor coordination
- Support capital projects, equipment installations, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide guidance to production staff on basic equipment care and troubleshooting
