Senior Store Designer – Relocation
A respected national retailer is seeking a senior store designer to help bring new stores and remodels to life across the United States. This is an exciting opportunity to play a high-impact role within a collaborative, expanding design team, supporting growth and innovation in a company with a strong reputation for quality environments and creative execution.
Senior Store Designer Benefits & Compensation
- $90,000 to $110,000 base salary, depending on experience and level

Senior Store Designer Requirements & Qualifications
- 7+ years of commercial design experience (retail, restaurant/QSR, hospitality, franchise, or other customer-facing commercial environments strongly preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit or Rhino also considered)
- Strong knowledge of space planning and construction documents for commercial projects
- Demonstrated ability to advocate for design intent and protect project timelines
- Effective communicator and confident collaborator with real estate, architecture, and construction teams
Senior Store Designer Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience designing for franchise concepts or managing multiple stakeholders/partners
- Previous work with flagship or major build-outs
- Familiarity with adapting concepts to unique site conditions, local codes, and landlord requirements
Senior Store Designer Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Take store projects from design concept through construction-ready blueprints, ensuring design intent is executed
- Develop detailed floor plans, elevations, fixture layouts, and construction documents using AutoCAD
- Coordinate closely with real estate, construction, and internal partners to keep projects on schedule
- Adapt design concepts as necessary for site-specific requirements or code compliance
- Advocate diplomatically to maintain design quality and adherence to deadlines
- Occasionally travel for major flagship store builds
