We are seeking an experienced Production Operations Manager to lead daily operations within a fast-paced precast concrete manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for overseeing production, driving efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily plant operations, production schedules, and workflow management
- Lead, develop, and support production supervisors and plant staff
- Ensure production goals, quality standards, and delivery timelines are met
- Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Coordinate with engineering, sales, and logistics teams to align production with project needs
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, safety policies, and company standards
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventative maintenance efforts
- Track production KPIs, labor utilization, and operational performance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in precast concrete manufacturing or a related industry
- Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of production processes, scheduling, and workflow optimization
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Lean manufacturing experience is a plus
