Golf Club Equipment Manager Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a mechanic, with proficiency in repair and maintenance
  • Experience repairing and maintaining turf equipment
  • Hydraulic repair experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to high standards
  • Ability to maintain accurate records
  • Prior golf course mechanical experience is a plus, but not required

Golf Club Equipment Manager Preferred Background & Skills

  • Experience transitioning from automotive dealership environments to turf or golf equipment is valued
  • Experience in training or supervising staff is beneficial

Golf Club Equipment Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all golf course maintenance equipment
  • Diagnose and address mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues across a diverse fleet
  • Establish and oversee a preventative maintenance program
  • Maintain detailed service, repair, inventory, and equipment history records
  • Manage parts ordering and inventory in an organized, cost-conscious manner
  • Communicate equipment needs, repair updates, and recommendations to management
  • Support equipment safety and train team members on proper equipment use
