About the Opportunity:
Well established and growing law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Birmingham office. This role focuses on commercial litigation with an emphasis on transportation-related matters, offering the opportunity to work on complex and high-exposure cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and support commercial and transportation litigation matters
- Draft and argue:
- Motions
- Pleadings
- Legal memoranda
- Conduct depositions and manage discovery
- Assist with case strategy and trial preparation
- Work with clients in the transportation and logistics sectors
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Top 25% academic credentials required
- 3–6 years of litigation experience
- Experience with commercial litigation and transportation-related matters
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage cases with increasing independence
- Alabama license in good standing
