About the Opportunity:
Well established and growing law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Birmingham office. This position focuses on medical negligence litigation and offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-stakes matters within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support medical negligence litigation matters
- Draft and argue:
- Motions
- Pleadings
- Legal memoranda
- Conduct depositions and manage discovery
- Work closely with clients, experts, and senior attorneys
- Assist in trial preparation and case strategy
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Top 25% academic credentials required
- 4–6 years of litigation experience
- Experience handling medical negligence / medical malpractice cases
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage cases with increasing independence
- Alabama license in good standing
