An emerging and rapidly scaling investment platform is seeking a Manager of ETF Operations to lead and evolve its ETF operational infrastructure. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for both executing critical day-to-day functions and shaping the future-state operating model, technology stack, and scalable processes that support continued platform growth.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee end-to-end ETF operations, including creation/redemption activity, basket management, trade settlements, and coordination with authorized participants, custodians, and fund administrators
  • Ensure operational accuracy, timeliness, and seamless execution across all ETF workflows

Technology & Innovation

  • Partner closely with internal technology teams to define and prioritize system requirements
  • Play a hands-on role in the design, testing, and implementation of ETF operational tools and automation solutions

Process Design & Risk Management

  • Build and enhance scalable workflows, controls, and governance frameworks
  • Drive continuous process improvement with a focus on automation, efficiency, and risk mitigation

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with fund accounting, transfer agency, compliance, and client service teams to ensure alignment and operational excellence
  • Serve as a central point of coordination across key stakeholders

Strategic Contribution

  • Provide subject matter expertise to inform ETF product development and long-term operational strategy
  • Contribute to the evolution of a modern, technology-enabled ETF platform

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (advanced degree or CFA preferred)
  • 5+ years of ETF operations experience within an asset manager, fund administrator, or custodian
  • Deep knowledge of ETF mechanics, including AP relationships, order flows, basket processing, and regulatory considerations
  • Experience working with ETF systems and tools (e.g., basket automation, PCF, workflow platforms)
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with technology teams on system enhancements and implementations
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a continuous improvement orientation
  • Collaborative, team-first approach with strong communication skills
