Controls Engineer – Industrial Automation Requirements & Qualifications:

3–5+ years in industrial automation, controls engineering, or electrical engineering
Strong PLC programming from scratch
Experience with industrial networking protocols
Ability to read and create electrical schematics (CAD)
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience
Understanding of electrical codes and safety standards
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Must haves:

Write PLC programs for custom machinery from concept through production
Support machine builds and system integration on the manufacturing floor
Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues in real time
Work cross-functionally with production and service teams to resolve issues
Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Controls Engineer – Industrial Automation Preferred Background & Skills:

Experience with Yaskawa or similar PLC platforms (Omron, Mitsubishi, IDEC)
Motion control or PLC open experience
HMI development experience
OEM or custom machinery manufacturing experience
Exposure to ERP systems
Experience with electrical testing
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
