Drive the next generation of insulation and fire-protection materials across aerospace, automotive, oil & gas, and industrial markets. As a Material Science Engineer you’ll work hands-on with cutting-edge composites, ceramics, and coatings that perform under extreme conditions.

Material Science Engineer – What You’ll Do

  • Research, develop, and refine high-temperature, lightweight insulation materials.
  • Conduct lab testing and validate performance under thermal, acoustic, and fire conditions.
  • Partner with R&D and manufacturing to scale up formulations and optimize production.
  • Troubleshoot production challenges and create cost-effective solutions.
  • Support customer-specific projects and ensure compliance with FAA, ASTM, and ISO standards.
  • Translate complex technical findings into clear documentation for clients and colleagues.

Material Science Engineer – What You Bring

  • B.S. or M.S. in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in composites, insulation, or high-performance materials.
  • Proficiency with material testing methods and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with textile-based manufacturing (weaving, coating, or cutting equipment).
  • Strong problem-solving, cross-functional communication, and project leadership skills.
