Hotel General Manager

We’re seeking a dynamic, experienced FULL SERVICE Hotel General Manager to lead operations, inspire a high-performing team, and drive guest satisfaction at one of our premier properties in Royal Oak, MI area. 💡 What You’ll Do:

Own the financial performance of the property—including revenue management, forecasting, payroll, purchasing, and profit goals
Lead, coach, and support a team across all departments (Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, F&B, Sales)
Oversee recruitment, training, and development of all staff—building a culture rooted in service and accountability
Ensure operational excellence in all areas: guest satisfaction, cleanliness, safety, brand compliance, and team performance
Hold regular department meetings and champion open communication across all teams
Proactively monitor local market trends and competitor strategies to stay ahead
Address guest feedback swiftly, always turning challenges into five-star experiences
Partner with corporate and franchise teams to ensure all standards, reporting, and compliance requirements are met

🏆 What You Bring:

Proven experience in Full Service Hotel leadership (minimum 3–5 years in a GM or senior operations role)
Strong financial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and profit targets
Experience managing large teams (10–250 employees) across multiple departments
Deep understanding of hospitality brand standards, customer service excellence, and safety protocols
A people-first leadership style that empowers others and builds a lasting team culture
Hands-on, solutions-oriented approach with a passion for guest satisfaction
