Hotel General Manager

We’re seeking a dynamic, experienced FULL SERVICE Hotel General Manager to lead operations, inspire a high-performing team, and drive guest satisfaction at one of our premier properties in Royal Oak, MI area. 💡 What You’ll Do:

  • Own the financial performance of the property—including revenue management, forecasting, payroll, purchasing, and profit goals
  • Lead, coach, and support a team across all departments (Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, F&B, Sales)
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and development of all staff—building a culture rooted in service and accountability
  • Ensure operational excellence in all areas: guest satisfaction, cleanliness, safety, brand compliance, and team performance
  • Hold regular department meetings and champion open communication across all teams
  • Proactively monitor local market trends and competitor strategies to stay ahead
  • Address guest feedback swiftly, always turning challenges into five-star experiences
  • Partner with corporate and franchise teams to ensure all standards, reporting, and compliance requirements are met

🏆 What You Bring:

  • Proven experience in Full Service Hotel leadership (minimum 3–5 years in a GM or senior operations role)
  • Strong financial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and profit targets
  • Experience managing large teams (10–250 employees) across multiple departments
  • Deep understanding of hospitality brand standards, customer service excellence, and safety protocols
  • A people-first leadership style that empowers others and builds a lasting team culture
  • Hands-on, solutions-oriented approach with a passion for guest satisfaction
