We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the opening and ongoing operations of a new upscale full-service restaurant in Chicago.

This leader will be responsible for creating an exceptional guest experience, building and developing high-performing teams, driving financial results, and establishing a culture centered on hospitality and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate has a proven history of success within upscale dining environments and excels at developing teams, managing restaurant performance, and creating memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all restaurant operations and service teams.

• Recruit, train, develop, and mentor managers and hourly employees.

• Drive guest satisfaction and hospitality standards.

• Manage labor, inventory, scheduling, and overall financial performance.

• Ensure compliance with all company standards and operating procedures.

• Partner with ownership during pre-opening and opening activities.

• Develop a positive, accountable, and hospitality-focused culture.

• Build relationships with guests, team members, and community stakeholders.

• Drive profitability while maintaining exceptional service standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of General Manager experience in upscale dining, fine dining, or premium hospitality environments.

• Proven success managing high-volume restaurant operations.

• Strong leadership and people development skills.

• Strong financial acumen and P&L management experience.

• Opening experience strongly preferred.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
