Dining Room Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- 5+ years of restaurant management experience, ideally in upscale or fast-casual concepts
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Proven success in high-volume, guest-focused environments
- Flexible schedule, including availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays
Dining Room Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Lead front-of-house operations, ensuring seamless service and elevated guest experience
- Hire, train, and mentor a dynamic front-of-house team
- Oversee scheduling and staffing to meet service demands
- Collaborate with kitchen leadership to coordinate smooth service flow
- Monitor labor costs, operational efficiency, and drive guest retention initiatives
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
