Kitchen Manager Requirements and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of kitchen leadership experience as a Kitchen Manager, Executive Chef or other similar positions
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, labor management, and inventory control
  • Proven ability to train, coach, and develop hourly team members
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Kitchen Manager Preferred Background and Skills

  • Experience in casual dining or other high-volume restaurant concepts
  • Track record of improving kitchen performance, consistency, and profitability
  • Ability to build a positive, results-driven kitchen culture
  • Hands-on leadership style with a focus on execution and accountability
