Restaurant General Manager Compensation and Benefits

Restaurant General Manager Requirements and Qualifications
- 5+ years of General Manager or senior hospitality leadership experience in high-volume environments
- Proven ability to oversee FOH and BOH operations while leading large teams and multiple revenue streams
- Strong background in training, team development, and creating service-focused cultures
- Experience managing P&L performance, labor, prime cost, and operational systems
- Ability to build structure through SOPs, training programs, and operational consistency
- Strong event planning and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate initiatives well in advance
- Hands-on leadership style with strong floor presence and guest engagement
Restaurant General Manager Preferred Background and Skills
- Experience in destination-driven hospitality concepts, resorts, country clubs, entertainment dining, or multi-outlet operations
- Track record of helping scale and evolve growing restaurant or hospitality brands
- Ability to collaborate closely with ownership and marketing teams on events and guest engagement strategies
- Strong hospitality mindset with the ability to educate teams on brand standards and guest experience expectations
- Leadership style focused on accountability, culture, and long-term team development
