Quality Assurance Manager

Quality Assurance Manager Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required
10+ years of quality or compliance experience, with experience in the paints and coatings industry preferred
3+ years of supervisory experience
Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 Quality Management Systems
Experience conducting internal and external audits and implementing corrective/preventive actions
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement/Kaizen processes
Ability to wear a respirator and all required PPE (including being clean-shaven)

Quality Assurance Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Support and advance the quality assurance program, focusing on defect prevention
Oversee compliance and adherence to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
Lead, mentor, and develop quality assurance team members
Conduct and manage internal and external quality audits
Identify and implement corrective and preventive actions in response to quality issues
Champion continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization
