Associate Requirements & Qualifications

JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
Admitted or eligible for admission in the District of Columbia
Excellent written and oral communication skills
High level of professionalism when working with clients and colleagues
Strong ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle competing responsibilities
Exceptional organization and attention to detail
Effective team player with collaborative mindset

Associate Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Research and draft FCC pleadings and related filings for clients in telecommunications and media
Prepare court motions, briefs, and other legal documents for federal and state proceedings
Assist in preparing for depositions and managing the discovery process
Develop strategies to help clients achieve their regulatory and legislative goals
Advise clients on regulatory compliance issues in a changing legal landscape
Support due diligence efforts for complex business transactions
