A respected restaurant group is seeking an experienced and hospitality-driven General Manager to join their leadership team at a vibrant, high-energy dining destination known for exceptional cuisine and a contemporary atmosphere. General Manager Requirements & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of management experience in an ultra high-volume, upscale dining or hospitality environment
  • Proven ability to motivate, lead, and develop teams with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and cost controls
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to work until 3am most nights and have a flexible schedule

General Manager Preferred Background & Skills

  • Nightlife experience in an upscale restaurant or club
  • Experience with contemporary cuisine or similar concepts
  • Familiarity with POS systems (e.g., Toast) and restaurant technology platforms
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus

General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the front-of-house team to deliver memorable, personalized guest experiences
  • Oversee staff training, performance, and scheduling to maintain high standards and efficient operations
  • Manage labor, cost controls, and profitability to align with company goals
  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations
  • Actively monitor floor operations, resolve guest concerns, and build lasting relationships with regular guests
  • Collaborate with culinary and management teams to introduce new offerings and optimize menus
  • Oversee stock management, inventory control, and maintenance of restaurant assets
  • Maintain accurate records and oversee daily operational reporting
  • Foster a positive, inclusive workplace that supports ongoing learning and exceptional service
