Executive Chef – Luxury Boutique Hotel | Midtown Manhattan
An award-winning, luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Midtown Manhattan is seeking an accomplished Executive Chef to lead its culinary program. This is a highly visible role for a creative, disciplined, and business-minded chef who thrives in an upscale, design-forward hospitality environment.
This chef will oversee all culinary operations for the property, including a signature restaurant, cocktail lounge, in-room dining, and private events. The ideal candidate brings a balance of culinary creativity, strong leadership, and financial acumen, with a passion for building teams and delivering memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all kitchen operations across multiple outlets, ensuring consistent execution, quality, and presentation
- Develop and evolve menus that reflect modern, elevated cuisine while remaining operationally efficient
- Recruit, train, mentor, and retain a high-performing culinary team
- Maintain strict standards for food safety, cleanliness, and compliance
- Manage food, labor, and operating costs while maximizing profitability
- Partner closely with hotel leadership, front-of-house, and events teams to deliver seamless service
- Support private dining, rooftop or lounge programming, and high-profile events
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as an Executive Chef in an upscale hotel, fine-dining restaurant, or luxury lifestyle brand
- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, team-first management style
- Proven ability to manage food and labor costs in a high-volume, quality-driven operation
- Experience with hotel or multi-outlet environments is highly preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused NYC setting
