Paralegal Assistant (On-Site)
Location: On-site (parking provided)
Schedule: Full-time | 40 hours/week | 8:30–5:30 PM EST (±30 min flexibility)
Compensation: $40,000–$50,000 base + benefits
About the Role
We’re hiring a Paralegal Assistant to support a team of experienced paralegals in a fast-paced, well-organized legal environment. This is an entry-level role designed for someone who is highly organized, eager to learn, and interested in building a long-term career in the legal field.
Legal experience is helpful but not required — we have a structured training program and hands-on mentorship to help you succeed.
What You’ll Do
- Support a team of 9 paralegals with administrative and filing tasks
- Assist with court filings (electronic and mailed, depending on court requirements)
- Scan, upload, and organize documents in internal systems
- Process and track incoming checks, bundle them, and prepare outgoing mail twice weekly
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Provide light receptionist coverage 1–2 times per week during lunch breaks
- Take notes, learn internal processes, and gradually take ownership of tasks as trained

- Comfortable with routine, detail-oriented work
- Actively integrates into the team after training
What We’re Looking For
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of office experience
- Comfortable using Excel and basic office software
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable, honest, and team-oriented
Nice to Have
- Prior legal office or court filing experience
- Interest in growing into a paralegal or legal support role over time
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $40,000–$50,000
- 401(k) with ~4% company match (after 120 days)
