Are you an experienced electrical leader ready to take charge of a thriving service division? We’re seeking an accomplished Electrical Service Division Manager to oversee and grow our Orlando and Tampa-based Service Department for one of Florida’s most respected electrical contractors. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving growth, operational excellence, and superior customer service across our electrical service operations. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and hands-on leader—someone who can guide teams, strengthen client relationships, and deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Growth: Expand the electrical service account base through proactive business development, networking, and relationship-building—both internally and externally.
- Project Leadership: Develop scopes of work, prepare estimates, and generate proposals for small- to mid-sized projects, ensuring accuracy and profitability.
- Operational Management: Maintain appropriate staffing levels and workload distribution to meet customer demands and business goals.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, mentor, and motivate service technicians and office staff. Oversee performance reviews, career development, and safety compliance.
- Financial Oversight: Manage departmental budgets, expense control, and profitability while maintaining exceptional service quality.
- Culture & Safety: Lead weekly service meetings and safety trainings to foster communication, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Performance Analysis: Evaluate service productivity and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, customer satisfaction, and margins.
- Technical Excellence: Provide technical guidance and hands-on support for installations and troubleshooting to ensure superior work quality.
- Client Engagement: Collaborate with account teams and clients to identify opportunities for expanded services and customized electrical solutions.
- Strategic Alignment: Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure all solutions meet client expectations and align with the company’s strategic goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of electrical service or project management experience, including supervisory or leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of commercial and industrial electrical systems, codes, and best practices.
- Proven track record of business development success and building long-term customer relationships.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in estimating, scheduling, and cost management.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
