Commercial Fire Sprinkler Designer Requirements & Qualifications

At least 5 years of fire sprinkler design and project management experience.
Extensive experience with AutoCAD, HydraCAD, or AutoSprink design software.
Working knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, especially in multi-family and commercial settings.
Familiarity with current NFPA regulations.
NICET Water Based System I, II, or III certification preferred.
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related technical discipline preferred.

Commercial Fire Sprinkler Designer Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Manage multiple commercial, industrial, and multi-family sprinkler system design projects simultaneously.
Oversee the complete project lifecycle, including design, scheduling, planning, construction, and delivery.
Conduct and coordinate project activities such as expediting, inspection, and quality control.
Ensure all designs meet current NFPA regulations and internal quality standards.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Maintain consistent communication with project stakeholders regarding progress and expectations.
