Family Physician – Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish or Polish) | Community Health Center | Chicago, IL

A leading community health center in Chicago is seeking a Family Physician (MD/DO) to join its dedicated medical team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on underserved communities by providing compassionate, evidence-based care to children, women, and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care in an outpatient setting, including preventive, acute, and chronic care management
  • Conduct detailed histories, physical examinations, assessments, and diagnostics
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests and procedures
  • Manage the full spectrum of contraception and women’s health needs
  • Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary primary care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Opportunity for administrative/leadership responsibilities for qualified candidates

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Active Illinois medical license
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Prior community health center experience preferred
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Polish preferred, but not required
