Restaurant and Bar Assistant General Manager

This successful and ever-growing restaurant group is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support our leadership, our team, and our guests. We are looking for motivated, hands-on leaders who can balance floor presence with administrative responsibilities and help drive operational excellence. Restaurant and Bar Assistant General Manager Requirements:

  • Prior restaurant management or assistant general management experience with an independent group
  • Focus on guest experience, staff training, and bar operations
  • Familiarity with POS, seating, and reservations systems
  • High energy, life of the party mindset, and strong culture of hospitality

Restaurant and Bar Assistant General Manager Responsibilities:

  • Assist in scheduling, staffing, and training front-of-house team members
  • Act as a strong floor presence, directing service and supporting staff during peak shifts
  • Partner with the General Manager on cost control, inventory, and administrative tasks
  • Handle guest concerns, ensure recovery, and uphold service standards
