Position Overview

The Non-Ferrous Operations Manager will oversee the division’s processing, sales, and pricing strategy. This role combines hands-on operational leadership with commercial growth responsibilities, requiring deep industry knowledge and a proven ability to drive both efficiency and profitability. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily non-ferrous operations, processing, and shipments
  • Drive sales growth and manage customer relationships
  • Set pricing strategies aligned with market conditions
  • Improve efficiency, recovery rates, and reduce waste
  • Ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance
  • Manage budgets, inventory, and supplier partnerships
  • Lead and develop operations and sales staff
  • Report on performance, sales, and profitability

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in non-ferrous metals operations, sales, and pricing
  • Strong track record in sales growth and pricing strategy
  • Proven leadership and team development experience
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communicator with customers, suppliers, and staff
  • Proficient with ERP and inventory management systems
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; industry experience strongly valued
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments
